My work has been inspired in part by the following influences. Some of these artists and creations have been a part of me for many many years, some are newer. All have affected me in a lasting way. I put a star next to the five items in each category that have the greatest affect on my work and on me personally. I literally would not be the person I am, making the art that I make, had I not encountered these influences. These links lead to Amazon.com pages because I thought that might offer both images and information. But I encourage anyone with interest to also google these people, books and movies. They may not all strike your fancy, but they are all worth knowing. |
