Zazzle Info

Zazzle is a giant website offering high-quality vibrant print on demand products.  They offer products you can design yourself, but they also offer items designed by artists, illustrators, graphic designers and all sorts of folks.  There are many ways to shop on Zazzle, but they do offer more than 30 BILLION products, so I thought it might be helpful to share a few tips here.  (At the time I am writing this page, they have 37,814,969,281 products available!)

Here are some screen shots with tips about how I prefer to navigate there.  Watch for the green arrows highlighting specific points.  (Note:  Shop designs change all the time, but the key elements shown below are always available.)

Once you make it to the "View all products" page, you will see this little bar with three drop down menus.  This allows you to view items by product type.  It also allows you to sort items from the newest releases to the oldest.  And it allows you to control how many items are shown on one page. 

Each drop down menu gives you several options.  I should mention, though, that very few artists and designers create for ALL product lines.  Some may create only posters and cards, some may create everything but sneakers and skateboards.

Once you select an actual item to view, you will see the volume discount chart for that product line.  Zazzle offers volume discounts for most products and the great thing is, you do NOT have to order multiples of the same design in order to get the discount.  You could order ten different cards from ten different artists and you would still get the volume discount.  They apply the volume discount automatically.  No need to enter a discount code.  (But if you want discount codes, try looking here.  And also be sure to sign up for the Zazzle newsletter because they often send out coupon codes, especially in the fall.)

Many products have more than one side.  At the bottom of the picture window, you will find little thumbnail images that allow you to toggle between different views.

Some products offer customizable fields where you can type in your own personal message or greeting.

Customizable products also give you the option to simply clear all the text away if you prefer to buy the item as a blank card or invitation allowing you to handwrite your own message.

If you have time, be sure to give the art you like 5 stars by clicking the fifth star - the one furthest to the right.  And leave a comment, too!  These features help the artists you like to appear higher in the search rankings.  And they make us feel good.  :)

I have seen many many Zazzle products and heard from customers who have also begun to collect a variety of fun colorful Zazzle goodies.  So far, all feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.  Zazzle makes gorgeous stuff.  Their cards are the best available anywhere.  Their postcards are nice, too, but not quite as amazing as their cards, so if you only order one type of item to start with, you cannot go wrong with their cards.  Their mugs, mousepads, stickers and other goodies are also unbelievably vibrant and lovely.  On par with items you might find in an art museum gift shop. 

If you do ever purchase anything that does not thrill you, please return it to Zazzle for a full refund or a prompt replacement.  And PLEASE also tell me about it.  I would very much appreciate your feedback.  Also, when you check out, do pay attention to shipping options.  Different items may ship via different means and you usually get a choice of shipping solutions (at different price points) for each product group.  Shipping options do not always default to the least expensive choice, so pay attention.
