High-viscosity acrylic paint on an unfinished pine box  

This piece was truly a labor of love.  It is essentially five separate paintings that work together to capture the magic of moonlight and seasonal change.  This is a pure finger-painting.  I used my fingertips to apply paint directly from my palette onto the wood.  All Year has wonderfully vibrant hues with surprising bits of contrasting color peaking out from every scene.  And lovely rich texture as well.  I have additional detailed scan of this piece available if you are interested.  I imagine this box would be best used to hold important treasures that do not need to be regularly accessed.  If you choose to use this box to hold items which you will need often, please let me know that and I will apply a gloss varnish to protect the painted surfaces from repeated handling.
