The words in this piece are discussed below.

(Enlarged to show details.  There are layers and layers and layers of color and linework and words in this beautiful, elegant, expressive piece.  Some of the words are engraved in the surface with a dental tool.  Many are purposefully painted over and difficult to see. The words that are clearly visible include the phrase "My heart" repeated multiple times.  The phrase, "Please remember this map, this love, this song."  And the phrase, "My heart sings to you to you wild warrior to you."  This piece is visibly textured.  There is a sawtooth on the back for hanging.)
