Potential has a lot of depth and a really pleasant sense of movement.  It is almost playful.  And there are some fabulous rich colors layered and blended throughout.  This is another in my pieces with words.  In this case, the words are carved right into the wood and then painted over.  They read, "Your gifts will not stay hidden."  This is the first time I have shown a purely abstract expressionist piece publicly.  I have completed others, but I have never been satisfied with the results.  This kind of painting looks deceptively simple, but it is in fact very difficult to create an energetic, well-balanced, cohesive abstract painting.  And it is really easy to make terrible abstract art.  :)  I am pleased with this one.
