Quiet Rain

Some areas in Quiet Rain were painted with iridescent paint so that the original painting actually shimmers faintly.  Scanning the gold-ish paint apparently flattens out the warm tones causing them to appear more harsh than in the real painting, where the warm tones are very subtle.  This was my first time painting on such an absorbent cotton mat board.  The affect was very similar to watercolor.
