The words read: I always finished my tests too soon. I do not care to sit quietly at my desk. I do not like to check my answers.

| This piece makes me so happy.
I am finally able to look back on my miserable school years with
humor. Easily, the hardest part of school for me was sitting
there and doing nothing. I hate doing nothing. And I was
always done with my test and assignments too soon. While
pretending to review my answers, I used to write adolescent
philosophy on my desktop and plan excuses to get out of my next
class.
There is something about this style of abstract painting that feels like a well-warn memory. Like peaking back through a window in time. This painting has a gorgeous array of subtle hues and rich textures. It is a unique piece sure to brighten any home or work space with amusing daydreams. School continues my interest in the addition of language to visual art. It contains three phrases painted in small letters in three separate places. Under the desk are the words, "I always finished my tests too soon." In the left corner is, "I do not care to sit quietly at my desk." And in the right corner is the phrase, "I do not like to check my answers." |
