This is such a charming piece.  I am not going to write in depth about this painting.  I will let you see your own story here.  But I will say that it is filled with deep rich hues, some of which have a slight iridescence, and lovely natural lines.  It is a thoughtful, curious painting sure to bring a few childhood daydreams to any room.

I began by priming a canvas panel with black acrylic gesso.  Then I painted a wild, fun, expressionist painting filled with browns, burgundies, dark blues and plums.  As well as a few hidden bits of rich iridescent bronze and copper and antiqued gold.  And then this girl and the pup just came to me out of nowhere.  I really had no plan for them and am surprised to see them.  It is always a treat to discover new visitors in my work.
