I really enjoy this image, but I think it affects me at a level beyond language.  I am not going to say too much about it, hoping instead that the image might speak for itself.

The colors in this piece are delicious.  And the hearts are ripe and full.  There is a single sentence painted in tiny black letters near the center that reads, "Love will always change."

How Take Your Chances was created.....   After the black acrylic primer dried, I used wide soft brushes and a soft cotton cloth to layer transparent color across the canvas.  Some hues were brushed on, some were rubbed on.  Some were applied when the layer below had dried in order to keep the colors separate.  Some were applied while the layer below was still wet so that the colors would blend together.  Next, I used a variety of small and tiny detail brushes to add the many many lines that define this piece.  And to paint the beautiful lush hearts and to add the words.  This is a particularly rich painting with colors that will surprise you.

Take Your Chances was painted on a professional quality gallery-wrapped canvas.  This piece looks wonderful displayed unframed directly on the wall.  Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it required no matting or glass.  It is also looks lovely displayed on a small decorative easel.

Love will always change.
