This sweet, poignant original acrylic painting is now for sale.
Without You was originally created for use on a Missing You type of
greeting card. This fellow and his dog who are lost without
their unseen partner always touch me. There is something so
dear about them huddling together. I imagine that perhaps he
has been transferred for his work and must move ahead of his partner
to find them a new place to live. Or perhaps his relationship
has just ended. But I prefer to think it is some sort of
unavoidable absence. It is so easy to feel lost in large
anonymous cities. This painting has lovely subtle hues and
some wonderful distinctive shapes.
