MY REACTION:  I love this painting!  It feels good.  And it is good for the soul to have it around.  Energetic, playful, inspired, expressive, emotional, fun.  With so much color.  And wonderful organic lines.  And those very important words.  Joy.  Abundance.  How do you feel inside when you see those words?

CONTENT:  I cannot imagine we were put on this Earth to suffer, although I very much believe suffering serves a purpose.  We are here to celebrate!  To savor.  To appreciate.  To serve.  Abundance and joy are powerful words.  Indications that our needs are being met.  Indications of satisfaction and completion.  The opposite of needing.  I am hopeful this piece will bring you comfort and permission to celebrate.

ARTISTIC CONCERNS:  This is a combination of brush painting, knife painting and fingerpainting.  The word, "Joy", was engraved in the surface with a dental tool.
