This painting is a rich, layered, textured, natural gem. A weathered antique with modern ambitions. A beautiful symbolic reminder that flaws and inconsistencies and rough edges are often gathered together into one lovely and inspired whole. The words in this piece read: Love will never be perfect. How Accept It was created..... I used palette knives , brushes, a soft cloth, a dental tool, and a tiny 18/0 spotter brush to create this beautiful original painting.
(The sides are painted so you can display your new artwork unframed if you like. This is a digital photo. The detailed scans are more accurate.) Accept It was painted on a wooden board created specifically for use by artists. It has a recessed slot in the back allowing you to hang it flush with the wall. The sides of the board have been painted as well so that this piece would look wonderful displayed unframed either directly on the wall or on a small stand or decorative table-top easel.
