This painting feels delicate to me.  I am not sure if it is the tender linework or the transparent colors with such soft hues or what.  But it feels almost fragile.  And precious.  The sense of light in this piece suggests a moment that will pass very quickly, also.  This is a very pretty reminder that each day brings new possibilities and the potential for transformation.

How All New was created:  The underpainting was completed entirely with palette knives and then once that layer dried, I used traditional brushes to create the finished painting.

The edges of the panel have also been painted, so All New looks lovely displayed just as it is on a small stand or decorative easel.   It could also be easily and affordably framed as it requires no glass or matting.
