ABOUT THIS PIECE: We think we want easy lives, but I am not so sure anymore. I think maybe I have given up too much in the name of convenience. And comfort. My heart wants it all. Not just the easy stuff. My heart wants joy and sorrow and drama and peace and ugliness and grace. My heart wants to work. My heart wants all that life presents. And I am only content when I can accept that. Allow myself to want it all, even the crazy parts. The parts I am not supposed to want. Trying to avoid difficulties has only created more difficulties for me. Accepting the blue times brings me peace. This is a bold vibrant little painting. HOW THIS PAINTING WAS MADE: I used palette knives and brushes to create this engaging heart. DISPLAY OPTIONS: This piece could be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass. Or it would also display nicely sitting on a small decorative easel or stand just as it is, no framing needed. I will include a small plastic stand for free if you request one at the time of payment.
