In my experience, Angels rarely have wings or halos.  And they almost always have a mischievous sense of humor.  At least mine do.  I never know where my celestial helpers might appear or what sort of mayhem they might stir up in order to help me find my way.

Buffalo are my friends and I am always comforted when I see them.  I am especially fond of this one and I hope she brings humor and inspiration to your home or office.

How Angel was created...      I used palette knives to create the textured underpainting - layering several cooler toned colors beneath, then bright warm colors on top.  The rest of this fun piece was completed as a traditional brush painting.

This piece was painted on a 4" x 6" stretched canvas.  The sides of this piece DO have staples but they are covered by layers of paint and do not detract from the painting.  This piece looks lovely displayed as it is without framing either directly on the wall or on a small decorative easel or stand.  Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.

After years of searching, I finally found a commercial printer willing to run small batches of multiple designs at an affordable rate!  These postcards feature vibrant high-resolution reproductions of my work on glossy cardstock.  The backsides are typically blank but may contain a copyright notice.  While these cards may be sent through the postal system, I opted not to have the backsides printed with mailing graphics for two reasons.   I wanted to keep costs down so I could sell these for super-affordable prices.  And most of my customers report using postcards for display purposes, not for mailing.  These are display quality art and would look lovely framed.
