The words read:  One by one  ~  we let them go.

Those little hearts taking flight could be anything we must eventually relinquish.  Anything that must leave our sphere of control in order to reach its destiny.  Our children, our dreams, our creations.  For me, these little winged hearts feel like my paintings.  We all know the experience of investing in life and discovering that life will grow beyond us.

This is a lovely painting.  It comforts me and brings me peace.  I hope it warms your home with a similar sense of release.

How Attachments was created.....   I used palette knives and brushes to complete Attachments.  There are some nice unusual colors in this piece and some fine fine detail work.

Attachments was painted on a rigid canvas panel.  The edges of the panel have been painted, so this piece looks lovely displayed just as it is on a small stand or decorative easel.   Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no glass or matting.
