This is one of my favorite new pieces. I love the expressive
abstract painting. I love the detailed star that almost seems
to be dancing across the canvas. And I love the words.
There is a single word painted by the star that reads: "Shine".
And then a sentence painted above that reads: "We need your light." I think we are each blessed with different gifts. We are all gifted. And we are here to share those gifts with the world. To enrich each other. Too many bright people hide their sparkle, their light. When you do that, you cheat the whole world. And at this time in history more than ever before, we each need to shine. How Being Bright was created... This is a combination of brush painting and palette knife painting. And I used a dental tool to scratch in a few accent lines. I used a tiny 18/0 detail brush to paint the beautiful star and the accent lines and the words and the dots of color. Being Bright was painted on a professional quality gallery-wrapped canvas with deep 1.5" sides. This piece would look wonderful displayed unframed directly on the wall. Or it can be shown on a small decorative easel. Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it required no matting or glass.
