Acrylic paint on a special coated masonite panel

ABOUT THIS PIECE I love this painting.  I don't really have much more to say about it.  I love the simplicity.  The openness of the composition.  The clean flat colors.  The odd little cat.  The mystery of it.

HOW IT WAS MADE:  This is a traditional brush painting on a special board that was coated with paper pulp.  It was designed for folks who want to watercolor on boards instead of paper, but I love how acrylics look on this surface.

DISPLAY OPTIONS:  This piece could be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.  Or it would also display nicely sitting on a small decorative easel or stand just as it is, no framing needed.  I will include a small plastic stand for free if you request one at the time of payment.

You wouldn't understand.
