The
world needs you to shine! We need your light. We need
you to be special and to share your gifts. Somewhere along the
line, too many of us got taught that we should not stand out.
That it would be arrogant to sparkle or sing or be brilliant.
But for every person that resents your successes there will be TEN
people that get inspired by your willingness to stand apart and
share your unique perspective. The world desperately needs
creative leaders right now. This beautiful vibrant painting is filled with fun color and sharp lines. I am hopeful it will bring a warm splash of Holiday cheer to your home all year round. How Be the Light was created..... After the black gesso primer dried, I used a palette knife to apply modeling paste and create some rich organic textures. Once that layer dried, I used brushes, my fingers, a rag, palette knives, and paper towels to layer on all of the colors. And I used a dental tool to scratch in some accent lines. After those countless layers were dry, I used tiny detail brushes to paint that great winter scene. Be the Light was painted on a rigid canvas panel. The edges of the panel have been painted, so this piece looks lovely displayed just as it is on a small stand or decorative easel. Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no glass or matting. ***NOTE: I can include a new plastic stand with your order at no charge if you request one at the time of payment.
