ABOUT THIS PIECE:  I love chinchillas!  Folks have been sharing pictures of their chinchillas with me lately and I think they are the most wonderful little things.  So expressive!  This one is a bit miffed that people are discussing him as if he were not right there nearby.  Listening with his giant adorable ears.

This painting is SO LUSH with layers and layers of subtle color.  I worked on this one for a long time.  I especially love his eyes.

HOW IT WAS MADE:  This is a primarily a traditional brush painting, though I may have used palette knives in the earlier stages.

DISPLAY OPTIONS:  This piece could be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.  Or it would also display nicely sitting on a small decorative easel or stand just as it is, no framing needed.  I will include a small plastic stand for free if you request one at the time of payment.
