It
is time to clean house! Measure the many demands on your time
against the needs of your heart and discard all commitments that do
not feed your soul. Take care of your heart! Nothing
else matters. This is a beautiful elegant minimalist painting with soft hues and exciting textures and a lovely symbolic message that just might help to keep you clear and focused. Both the heart and the red line are raised from the surface of the canvas for a bold 3-dimmensional affect. I am hopeful this gentle image will bring you clarity and comfort. How Clean House was created..... After the black gesso primer dried, I used a palette knife to apply modeling paste and create the three-dimensional heart and the line. Once that layer dried, I used brushes, my fingers, a rag, palette knives, and paper towels to layer on all sorts of bold colors. When those countless layers were dry, I used a many light washes of muted pink and warm white to bring it all together. And then I used tiny detail brushes to paint the heart and the accent lines and the words. Clean House was painted on a rigid canvas panel. The edges of the panel have been painted, so this piece looks lovely displayed just as it is on a small stand or decorative easel. Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no glass or matting. ***NOTE: I can include a new plastic stand with your order at no charge if you request one at the time of payment.
