What a peaceful place. Someday I hope to move to such a Heavenly hideaway. I truly believe that open spaces and uninterrupted nature will heal what ails most of us.

I am hopeful this beautiful little painting will bring a bit of prairie calm to the home or office of some fellow nature lover out there.

How Country was created..... This is a traditional brush painting. I used a wide soft brush to layer the blues in the sky and the greens in the field. Mostly I allowed layers to dry completely before applying the next coat. I finished the piece by using tiny 18/0 detail brushes to paint the very small house and the trees.

Country was painted on a rigid canvas panel. The edges of the panel have been painted, so this piece looks lovely displayed just as it is on a small stand or decorative easel. Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no glass or matting. ***NOTE: I can include a new plastic stand with your order at no charge if you request one at the time of payment.
