2005 was a difficult year for much of the world.  A year with too many natural disaster, too much violence, too many diseases, and too many losses.  But I can feel the tide turning.  I think 2006 will bring new light and new luck.  We are about to begin a year of blessings and abundance.  And we all need to ready ourselves for goodness.  Practice being happy and enjoying life so that you can embrace the many gifts that are headed your way.

This is a beautiful elegant painting filled with subtle transitions, unexpected textures, and charming details.  I am hopeful that this unique painting will brighten your home like a warm gust of fresh air.

How Easy was created...  After the black gesso primer dried, I used acrylic modeling paste to create some exciting textures in the area that would become the ground.  Once that underpainting dried, I used wide soft brushes to blend many many layers of blue throughout the sky.  Then I used a variety of brushes to paint the land.  And I finished with tiny detail brushes, painting the lovely little bird and adding the words, "We have earned this easy spring."

Easy was painted on a professional quality gallery-wrapped canvas with deep 1.5" sides.  This piece would look wonderful displayed unframed directly on the wall.  Or it can be shown on a small decorative easel.  Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it required no matting or glass.  This piece is also quite stable sitting alone on a table or shelf.
