This lovely pig has some great painting going on.  Loose, expressive, really fun.  I am pleased with how it all came together.

I am not a vegetarian.  But apparently I am supposed to be.  Between Mad Cow and this piece it is apparent that the source of my art would like me to change my ways.  I have long admired vegetarians.  And I hope I can make that change.  It seems like the proper evolutionary path for humanity.  To eventually live in that more considerate manner.

But I do not think this painting has to be interpreted in that way.  Personally I get 0that message.  You are certainly welcome to enjoy this painting as a simple colorful outspoken pig interested in self-preservation.

How Edict was created.....   This piece evolved through many days of painting.  Originally, it was a part of the Rorschach series.  Then the shape became more and more pig-like.  Finally the pig insisted on being recognized and on the inclusion of those words.  This piece has both palette knife painting and brush painting.

(The textured sides are painted to match so you can display this painting unframed if you like.)

This piece was created on a gallery stretched canvas primed with black acrylic gesso.  The image continues around the staple-free sides.  This painting may be displayed unframed either directly on the wall or on a decorative display easel.  Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it required no matting or glass.
