MY REACTION:  Mmmmmm....    peace.  Potential.  Anything is possible in the beautiful quiet calm.  A day just barely breaking.  Warm interior light holding off the darkness.  A private moment for you.

I used to paint quiet country scenes all the time when I was trapped in the city.  Now that I live in the country and I am surrounded by timeless growing stuff, my insides are mostly full of other things.  So landscapes are especially sweet when they come.  This one is a powerful image for me.  Very satisfying.  A nice combination of expressive painting and important details.

ARTISTIC CONCERNS:  This is a traditional brush painting.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:  This piece is on a gallery stretched canvas.  The painting continues around the staple-free sides.  It can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.  This one also shows well on the wall as it is, unframed.  Or it can be shown on a small display stand.
