I love this painting!  Oh my...  the colors are so powerful.  So wild.  Nature does that.  She comes up with some of the craziest stuff.  I often look at fiery sunsets and blazing Fall leaves and heavy storm clouds filled with blues and purples and I think, "No one would believe me if I painted that.  It is too vivid to be believed."  This piece captures just a teeny bit of that bold natural magic.  With lush organic textures and many many layers of color.  There is a nice contrast here between the strong simple composition and the active energetic application of paint.

I am hopeful this unusual expressive landscape will add a burst of color and natural warmth to your home or office.

How Extravagance was created...  I used palette knives, dental tools, a soft cloth, paper towels, and a wide range of brushes to complete this fun colorful landscape.

(The image continues around the deep staple-free sides so you can display your new artwork unframed.  This is a digital photo.  The scans above and below are more accurate.)

Extravagance was painted on a 5.5" x 12" professional quality gallery-wrapped canvas with deep 1.25" sides.  This piece would look wonderful displayed unframed directly on the wall.  Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it required no matting or glass.
