MY REACTION:  These are special paintings for a dear friend.  Lovely lovely layered colors in this series.  Very warm and hopeful.

ARTISTIC CONCERNS:    This is a traditional brush painting.  NOTE:  A scanning issue makes stripes appear in the smaller scan of this piece.  There are no stripes like that in the painting.  See the close up scans for a better view.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:  This piece is on a gallery stretched canvas.  The painting continues around the staple-free sides.  It can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.  This one also shows well on the wall as it is, unframed.  Or it can be shown on a small display stand.
