Fine

I adore this painting and I cannot say a thing about the content. I do not know any more about it than you do. But it sure makes me happy.

This piece has some beautiful expressive abstract painting as well as the fine detail work in the birds. It is a thoughtful piece with deep luscious hues. I hope it makes you smile.

How Fine was created... This piece has acrylic modeling paste and artist grade stucco coming together to create rich natural textures that you will want to feel as well as see. And then it has layers and layers and layers of color. Some painted with brushes, some painted with palette knives, and some rubbed on or blotted off with a textured towel. I completed the piece using tiny 18/0 detail brushes to paint those fabulous little birds and the words.

Fine was painted on a 6" x 12" stretched canvas. The sides of this piece DO have staples but they are covered by layers of texture and color and do not detract from the painting. This piece looks lovely displayed as it is without framing either directly on the wall or on a small decorative easel or stand. Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.
