Oh
this is a yummy painting! The colors just sing. Or maybe
they dance. This is a delightful warm sunny landscape and I
hope it brings a wee bit of inspirational light to your home or
office. Feel the Light is a finger-painting. I have not used this method for a while and I miss it. I use my fingers to move paint from the palette to the canvas and then blend colors by patting the canvas with my fingertips (like playing a drum). It is a wild, messy process that has resulted in paint on every surface in my home and every item of clothing that I own. Literally. I buy paper towel in bulk and keep a bucket of water next to my easel so that I can clean up between colors.
(The image and textures continue around the sides so you can display your new artwork unframed. This is a digital photo, the scans above are more accurate.) Feel the Light was painted on a 6" x 6" stretched canvas. The sides of this piece DO have staples but they are covered by layers of texture and color and do not detract from the painting. This piece looks lovely displayed as it is without framing either directly on the wall or on a small decorative easel or stand. Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.
