G R E A T E S T     H I T S

This page represents my opinion, not my sales figures or customer feedback.  These are the pieces I feel best capture my own personal spirit and also the piece that best represent my artistic abilities.  That does not mean these are my best pieces.

To me, the effectiveness of a work of art depends entirely on how many lives that image touches.  And many many times during my career I have been surprised to find that pieces I care little for have had a big impact on my customers and friends.  And pieces I feel passionately about have found no audience at all.  The greatest two examples of this phenomenon would be the drawing titled Heaven which has been a huge hit among my viewing public but has never held much sway over me personally.  And the painting titled In the River which has affected me powerfully from the moment I finished it but which has never found much of an audience at all.

I had a heck of a time editing my way down to this list and there are MANY pieces not shown here that are still tremendously important to me.
