This is a fabulously fun, colorful image.  The words in this piece read, "You are perfect."  And I hear those words two ways.  Maybe they refer to the dog.  Maybe she is perfect because she is such a good girl.  Or maybe the dog intends those words for her owner.  Because dogs love so unconditionally.  Dogs don't see fat or ugly and or socially inept or technically challenged.  Dogs just see the people they love and they are glad.  And we are blessed.

I hope this vibrant little gem brightens the home of some fellow animal lover out there and brings a few smiles your way.

How Good Girl was created...  This is a traditional brush painting.  There are many layers of color built up over time.  The fine details were created with an 18/0 spotter brush.
