MY REACTION:  I really enjoyed creating this little series and I think each painting is bold enough to stand well alone.  But they look especially fantastic when shown together.  These are vivid colorful pieces filled with surprises.  And they all have some nice detailed linework, too.

CONTENT:  I think all three elements covered in this series are necessary for any of us to reach our potential.  We can only understand and use the power we were born with once we have explored the full-ness of our hearts and souls and committed to following our passions.  Similarly, we can only understand and embrace our passions by accepting that we are powerful and by committing our hearts fully to using that power.  And we can only know our hearts fully by screwing up the courage to accept that power and face that wild passion.  All three elements are interdependent, you know?  Sorry if this came out sounding like gobbledy-gook.  It makes sense in my head.  But I am better at expressing myself with paint than with words.

ARTISTIC CONCERNS:  These are knife and brush paintings.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:  These paintings are on rigid canvas panels.  They can be easily and affordably framed as they requires no matting or glass.  They could also be displayed unframed on small display easels.
