My heart is always swinging this way and that.  It is hard to pin down.  My passions shift and fade and grow and change.  I know that can be frustrating for folks who would prefer stability and consistency.  But you know what?  The world needs SOME stable, settled, predictable people and the world also needs SOME wild, flexible, unpredictable people, too.  I have learned to enjoy the motion.

How Heart in Motion was created:  This piece evolved over time and I used many different processes to pull it together.  Many tools, too.  Including brushes, palette knives, a soft cloth, my fingers, dental tools, and paper towels.

Heart in Motion was painted on a rigid canvas panel.  The edges of the panel have also been painted, so this piece looks lovely displayed just as it is on a small stand or decorative easel.   It could also be easily and affordably framed as it requires no glass or matting.
