MY REACTION:  I love this piece!  And it is much more satisfying to see in person.  These scans kind of wash it out a bit.  This is a pretty colorful expressive painting with a lot of emotion and a great sense of release.  It is a fun painting.

CONTENT:  I am a big chicken finally enjoying my moment in the sun.

ARTISTIC CONCERNS:  This is a brush and knife painting and I used some texturing products on this one, too.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:  This piece is on a gallery stretched canvas.  The staple-free sides are currently unfinished and I prefer to leave them that way.  I like the raw feel and the smudges and flecks that hint at how the painting developed.  However; if you prefer, I would happily paint the sides black at your request.  This piece can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass or it will also show well on the wall as it is, unframed.
