This little bird has had enough.  She is fed up.  And she is giving someone a good talking-to.  I admire her gumption.

This piece has some lovely bold painting and deep luscious color.  It is a very active painting.  That fun primitive little bird has a nice aggressive edge to her as well.  This is a fun piece and I hope it brings a bit of humor and joy to the home of some fellow odd duck out there.

How Hoppin' Mad was created.....   I used palette knives, a variety of brushes, and a dental tool to create this unique little piece.

Hoppin' Mad was painted on a thin, lightly textured masonite square.  The edges have been painted and this piece looks lovely displayed unframed on a small plastic stand or on a display easel.  Otherwise, it can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no glass or matting.
