ABOUT THIS PIECE:  This composition is so wide open and the bird feels so free.  All the painting here is purposefully raw and direct and expressive.  Adding a bit of emotional urgency.  I think the words are more of a command than a statement of fact. They read:  I am brave.

HOW IT WAS MADE:  I used palette knives and my fingers to create most of this beautiful expressive piece.  I used a brush to add the words and a few details.

DISPLAY OPTIONS:  This piece could be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.  Or it would also display nicely sitting on a small decorative easel or stand just as it is, no framing needed.
