MY REACTION: Oh yes. So strong! This is a luscious bold painting. With movement and light and drama and grace. A beautiful horse. In a sea of color. With juicy expressive painting. And a few fine details, too. One of my truest paintings in a long time. A wonderful gust of freedom. CONTENT: Passion. Fire, drive, wildness. Love. What are you passionate about? Our passions are pieces of our souls that we allow to remain wild and untamed. Unbroken. What could be more important? This is from the In Motion series. (NOTE: This image is inspired by a Gypsy Horse named Ace's Sir Arthur. He lives here in Minnesota.) ARTISTIC CONCERNS: This is primarily a finger-painting. I used tiny detail brushes to paint a few details and the words. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: This piece is on gallery stretched linen. The staple-free sides have been painted allowing you to show this piece unframed. Or, it can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.
