Instructions

This is a gorgeous fun piece filled with exciting colors and textures. The heart is actually recessed into the surface and yet the bold combination of glowing orange and cool blue make it appear as if it is popping out! This bright little painting includes the following instructions for maintaining a happy healthy heart/spirit... Feel. Trust. Shine.

How Instructions was created..... After the black acrylic gesso dried, I used palette knives to apply a layer of fine artist-grade stucco. Then I used a foam rubber stamp to create the heart-shaped "window". Once that layer dried, I used brushes and my fingers to apply many layers of warm brilliant color. And finally I used teensy detail brushes to add the lines and the highlights and the words.

Instructions was painted on a rigid canvas panel. The edges of the panel have been painted, so this piece looks lovely displayed just as it is on a small stand or decorative easel. Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no glass or matting. ***NOTE: I can include a new plastic stand with your order at no charge if you request one at the time of payment.
