(The painting continues around the sides so you can display this piece unframed if you like.  This is a digital photo.  The scans above are more accurate.)

MY REACTION:  Wow.  This was a WONDERFUL painting to create.  Pure joy.  This is why I paint.  No other reason.  I wish they could all be this pure.

CONTENT:  This is a little cockapoo that lives in my new neighborhood.  She reminds me a little of my old friend, Angle the Poodle.  Very expressive.

ARTISTIC CONCERNS:  This is a a lovely lush loose piece.  I used palette knives and brushes and my fingers to layer a gazillion colors in the expressionist "background" and then used tiny detail brushes to paint this gorgeous dog.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:  This piece is on a gallery stretched canvas.  The painting continues around the staple-free sides.  It can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.  It could also be displayed unframed on a small display easel.  This one also shows well on the wall as it is, unframed.
