I feel strongly that we create our own futures.  Whatever we believe, we manifest in the world around us.  And I think one of the greatest hurdles most of us face when defining ourselves and our futures is believing that we actually deserve to be happy and fulfilled.  That we deserve prosperity and comfort and joy in our lives.  It takes a lot of courage and faith to ask for what you want.

Over the years, I have learned and relearned that the world will answer my requests if I can just be brave enough to ask.  When I have asked for help, help has always arrived.  So many Angels have touched my life these past few years, that I feel inspired to create a series of Angel paintings celebrating the kindness they have shown.  This is the second in my series of Angel paintings.  I am hopeful it will add color and inspiration to your home or office.  And bless you with the strength to ask for what you need.

How Just Ask was created.....   After the black acrylic primer dried, I used brushes to build up several layers of warm neutral hues.  Then I used a soft cloth to rub on some transparent washes.  Next, I used dental tools to scratch out an area that would become the central "window" in this piece.  And when all those layers dried, I used small detail brushes to paint the beautiful Angel and to add the line work and the words.

Just Ask was painted on a professional quality gallery-wrapped canvas.  This piece looks wonderful displayed unframed directly on the wall.  Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it required no matting or glass.  It is also looks lovely displayed on a small decorative easel.
