MY REACTION: Ooh this one is neat! Wonderful gritty background. Bold expressive bird. I painted this piece for folks like me who have been through a lot but still have a long way to go, too. To remind us that those roads appearing as shortcuts will only waste time in the end. CONTENT: We work so hard to figure out WHY we are how we are. What made us this way. But once we figure out where to lay the blame, we are still the same folks. Still facing the same giant tasks. There are no shortcuts to forgiveness, trust, courage. ARTISTIC CONCERNS: This is a brush and knife painting. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: This piece is on a gallery stretched canvas. The painting continues around the staple-free sides. It can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass. This one also shows well on the wall as it is, unframed. Or it can be shown on a small display stand.
