"Light" is an important piece in terms of the development of my work.  A decade ago, I did a pair of paintings for my thesis at the University of Minnesota that contained hundreds of hidden words.  Those paintings have haunted the corners of my subconscious all these years and now they are giving birth to a whole new body of work.  This piece is the second in a new series of loose, free, spirited paintings filled with words and messages about the great possibilities in life.  Some of the words in this piece are painted and some are "engraved" in the paint with a dental tool.
