Tweet tweet. This sweet little bird is telling the Angel an
interesting story. Don't you wish you could hear? This
is a fun, vibrant, spring drawing that I hope will make you smile. How Little Bird was created..... Crayola crayon drawings are very labor intensive and sadly I cannot find the time to work in this media very often anymore. I regret that because crayons allow for a dreamy kind of color that is unique and offers universal appeal. Everyone loves crayons! This drawing was created entirely with crayons, there was no pencil sketching done first. And the color was layered and layered and layered to reach this luminous state of "stained-glass-like" warmth. After I finish a few crayon pieces, my hands ache and I have to take time off from artmaking for my cramped muscles to recover. Little Bird was drawn on a white piece of acid-free mat board. You will want to frame this piece to protect your investment. One affordable way to frame this unique drawing would be to purchase a standard-sized 11" x 14" (or larger) frame at your local home store and then bring the frame and the drawing together to a custom-framer. Ask the framer to mat the drawing to fit the frame.
