This is meditation on doing what you know is right, what you know you can do, what you know you must do, even if no one else understands. Because they don't have to understand you. They have their own paths to follow. Their own problems to solve. Their own battles to fight. You have to live as you have to live. Accept that and enjoy your unusual gifts. Enjoy your own special struggles. Find your own home. How Living Your Life was created..... After the black acrylic gesso primer dried, I used palette knives and dry brushes to apply many layers of color over the course of several days. I let each layer dry before applying the next. Finally, I used a tiny detail brush to paint the lovely symbolic house and the words. Living Your Life was painted on a thin, lightly textured masonite square. The edges have been painted and this piece looks lovely displayed unframed on a small plastic stand or on a display easel. Otherwise, it can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no glass or matting.
