Mmm.. the colors and the warmth in this piece are so inviting. This is a great little painting. Everything came together so nicely.

Cats teach us to slow down. To soak up the sun. And to purr when we are happy. Cats teach us to enjoy life in the moment! This lovely cat brings with her the suggestion to meditate. Sit still and breathe and wake up to the blessing of being alive.

How this original painting was created... Meditate is a traditional brush painting. There are many layers of color built up over time. The fine details were created with an 18/0 spotter brush.

Meditate was painted on a professional quality gallery-wrapped canvas with deep 1.5" sides. This piece would look wonderful displayed unframed directly on the wall. Or it can be shown on a small decorative easel. Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it required no matting or glass.
