MY REACTION:  My friend sent me a photo of her daughter goofing around in monkey pajamas and that inspired this piece.  It is really a nightgown, but I like the word jammies so I have decided that pajamas include nighties, not just the kind with legs.  The alternate title for this piece is Monkeys Don't Have Bedtimes.  This piece has some nice detail work and many layers of color.

ARTISTIC CONCERNS:  This is a traditional brush painting.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:  This piece is on a gallery stretched canvas.  The painting continues around the staple-free sides.  It can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.  This one also shows well on the wall as it is, unframed.  Or it can be shown on a small display stand.
