Acrylic on canvas panel

The word reads:  I always want more.

(Enlarged to show details)

This is a lush, fertile painting.  Filled with color, color, color!  And a nice symbolic gift, too.  And a single phrase that reads, "I always want more."

I am reluctant to comment too much on More.  I like the idea of you finding your own story here.  But I will say that the colors and the details in this one are especially lovely.

How More was created.....   After the black gesso primer dried, I used palette knives to create a wild expressionist painting filled with bold primary colors.  That lies underneath the image you see.  Once the underpainting dried, I used a variety of brushes to paint the many many layers that make up this exciting piece.

More was painted on a rigid canvas panel.  The edges of the panel have been painted, so this piece looks lovely displayed just as it is on a small stand or decorative easel.   Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no glass or matting.

I always want more.
