This optimistic little dog makes me so happy. I do not want to write too much about this one. I think it speaks for itself. But I will say there are some fabulous unusual hues here and also some gorgeous detail work.

I am hopeful this little mutt will bring warmth and humor and perspective to the homes of some fellow dog lovers out there.

How Mutt was created... I used palette knives to paint the abstract expressionist "background" in this piece. Then I spent hours with tiny detail brushes capturing this fun little dog.
