I used to do a ton of realistic graphite sketches back in art school, but it has been nearly a decade since I have worked this way.  I had a ball doing this piece.  The subject is, of course, my best friend, Angle the Poodle.  Angle's portrait is already somewhere in Georgia in the home of my number one fan, Carrie from Kennesaw.  Carrie now officially has more of my images in her home than my Mom does.  :)
