Oh I love this one. I really love this one. The words in this painting read, "Please stop complaining." Because this penguin has heard it all before and she is just not interested. She would really like to move on to more positive topics.

How many times in your life have you wanted to say those words? To the complainers around you or to that complaining voice in your own head. I would never have the nerve to say it directly, but I love saying it through this painting. Plus this piece has some fabulous abstract expressionist stuff happening, too. There is some nice energetic painting here and some interesting color arrangements. It feels lush. Like a flower garden in full bloom. Or a piece of tropical fruit.

I hope this unusual painting brings you a few smiles and a bit of contentment.

How No Complaints was created... I used palette knives and a variety of brushes to created this fun piece. Color was layered over the course of several days. I used a tiny detail brush to paint the accent lines, that wonderful penguin, and the words.
